The town of Montán stands out for the numerous festivals that are celebrated throughout the year, especially in the summer.

• Patron Saint Festivities, San Bernardo. They are celebrated on August 20 and are a good time to visit Montán and enjoy local traditions, parades, music and community activities (the rondalla and the commission go out to collect the will for the patron saint festivities), mass, procession, group performance of jacks on the patron’s day, and bulls and heifers on the 21st.
  Festivities in honor of the Virgen de los Desamparados. Afterwards, the Cultural Week begins and is organized by the “vacationers”. During this week, religious events, dinners and popular meals, and festivals and discomobiles are held.
• Sample of the Pig Killer (Matacerdo). Normally, on the weekend of the Constitution long weekend organized by the Montán Women’s Association. The traditional pig slaughter, so characteristic of rural areas, is remembered and typical dishes and sausages are prepared for attendees to taste.
• Christmas Week.  Activities are organized highlighting the traditional parade of the Three Wise Men, with the kings themselves and the pages distributing the gifts requested by the children at their homes.
• San Antón on January 17. The animals are blessed and the roll of charity is distributed. At night, bonfires are made in the streets where neighbors gather to dine in harmony.
• Virgin of Sorrows. It is celebrated the Friday before Holy Week, with a mass and procession through the streets of Montán.
• Montán Cultural Week. It begins the last weekend of July.  During one week, cultural and sporting activities are held, such as exhibitions, talks, concerts and sports competitions.
• Festivities in honor of the Virgin “de los desesperados”. Afterwards, the Cultural Week begins and is organized by the “vacationers”. During this week, religious events, dinners and popular meals, and festivals and discomobiles are held.
